DREAMSTATE
with Nākaloka
May 14-17
We invite you to a very unique three day immersion at The Thyme, an 85 acre wonderland in the Berkshires. It is a mountain hideaway located just two hours from New York City. This property is built for those seeking to step out of time and find genuine human connection in a wild and historic environment.
The Weekend Arc
Our journey is designed to explore the veil between the awake state and the dreamstate.
The Nākaloka Overnight Ceremony
The heartbeat of the weekend is an overnight edition of Nākaloka. This is an experience that spans the entire night. By staying present through the dark hours, we tap into a liminal space where the logical mind softens and a different kind of knowing takes over. This is the practice of keeping vigil, a time honored tradition where the indescribable occurs in the quiet of the night. We will move through multiple layers and chapters featuring special guest artists. Sacred music, mantras, world flutes, chants, movements… all will guide us through the night and culminate in a collective sunrise on the hill.
The Experience
We will hike through the forest trails that surround the property. We will share seasonal vegetarian meals at communal tables. We will sit in noble silence to let the mind settle, activating our super senses with the aid of a potent natural environment. We will gather for workshops to integrate the wisdom of the dreamstate. We will gather for a traditional Sweat Lodge ceremony on Sunday morning to purify and ground the spirit before we part ways, deepened, excavated, and changed.
