Ways of the Sápara Nation

September 24 - 26 • Ways of the Sápara Nation

We are gathering in a unique time, with elder Manari Ushigua, leader of the Sapara Nation in the Ecuadorian Amazon. Sharing his ways and the ancient wisdom of his ancestors before him at The Thyme. A weekend where we listen, learn about how our dreams are a bridge between our daily life and our connection with nature — how to find guidance through nature, her medicine and profound ancient tradition.

To deepen the experience, we will offer a Cacao Ceremony with Florencia Fridman, working with Cacao from Ecuador, clearing of the energies with Tobacco, movement and sound by Kevin de Roos.

Join us and discover new ways to dream to live and live to dream.

For more information please feel free to reach out to us as at any time.

The Experience

  • Blessing the Land

As we step onto this radiant earth, we begin with acknowledgment. Honoring her story and spirit, we offer a personal gift—a symbolic gesture of gratitude, sealing our presence with intention.

  • Manari & Florencia will create a special intimate setting in our cottage next to the river sharing medicines songs.

  • we will guide you through a cacao ceremony incorporating sacred prayers and conscious breath work to fully arrive into the heart space.

  • Often we tend to need a reminder of where our bodies store the chemicals that feel like blockages, stiffness and sometimes inflammation. We will lead our bodies into more flexibility while the distractions of the eye have nothing to grasp, in a blindfolded movement class.

  • At the Thyme, we embrace the spirit of purification through our fire-and-water ritual - gatherings around the fire, sharing stories and songs
